Hey y’all!

I’m thrilled to welcome you to the OT homeschooler, where we embark on a journey of learning, growth, and discovery together. My name is Casey Reese, and I’m excited to share this space with you.

As a certified occupational therapy assistant with specialization in pediatrics and homeschooling mama to two amazing girls, my life revolves around nurturing growth and fostering development. I’ve always been deeply passionate about children’s well-being and education, and their ability to live as independently as possible no matter what life challenges they are facing. This blog is an extension of that passion.

Here, you’ll find a blend of expertise from my professional background in occupational therapy and my personal experiences as a homeschooling parent. My goal is to provide you with a wealth of resources, insights, and support to empower you on your journey of parenting and teaching exceptional children. This is for all my fellow therapist as well, this page if made for you too!

In this inaugural post, I want to extend a warm invitation to you to join me on this adventure. Whether you’re a fellow homeschooling parent, and occupational therapist, or simply someone interested in child development, there’s something here for everyone.

What can you expect from the OT homeschooler? Well, expect to dive deep into topics such as pre writing skills and the foundational developments, sensory processing disorders, and tips on how to navigate it, homeschooling tips, and much more. I’ll be sharing practical advice, engaging activities, digital resources, and valuable insights to help you navigate the joys and challenges of raising and educating children.

But more than informative content, I hope this blog becomes community-a place where we can connect, support each other, and share our experiences. After all, parenting and teaching are journeys best traveled together.

So, welcome aboard! I’m honored to have you here, and I can’t wait to embark on this adventure with you. Feel free to explore this blog, leave comments, ask questions, and let’s make this a space where we learn, grown and thrive together.

Here’s to new beginnings and exciting discoveries!

Warmest wishes,

Casey Reese ( The OT homeschooler)
